My Last Day at the Clubhouse December 15, 2010

Filed under: Uncategorized — Stephanie Gillespie @ 9:49 pm

For many years, I have devoted myself to working with adults who have been affected by serious mental illness. This job has been more about who I am than what I do for a living. I have had the opportunity to meet so many amazing people, all of whom have touched my life in ways that I never imagined, but it’s time for me to devote myself to my new passion, my children.

There are so many reasons that I made the decision to go work at the daycare Charlie Rogan and Yates attend, but the thing I’m most excited about is being with my kids. I consider it the best of both worlds……I get to work AND be with my kids all day. It’s perfect.

I will miss all the people I have worked with, but I won’t be a stranger. I will always be involved in the Clubhouse in one way or another. Friendship House will always hold a very special place in my heart. Sent from my BlackBerry® smartphone

How many times have I told you that you are not to make decisions without consulting with me. Only kidding. Know the folks at clubhouse will miss you. Sad to see you go.
